Butyl rubber tape can be divided into several types. The following are the main types of butyl rubber tape:
Single-sided butyl sealant tape: covered with aluminum foil/non woven fabrics/Fluorocarbon film, etc. Single-sided butyl tape: This kind of tape is coated with butyl rubber on only one side and is suitable for occasions where the adhesion requirements are not particularly high.
- Aluminum foil butyl tape, it’s also called aluminum waterproof butyl tape or aluminum foil butyl rubber tape. This tape is made of butyl rubber with an aluminum foil layer added to enhance its weather resistance and water resistance. Aluminum foil butyl tape is suitable for waterproof sealing of various civil roofs, color steel, steel structures, waterproof membranes, PC boards, etc. under sunlight.
- Non-woven butyl tape: This kind of tape uses non-woven fabric as the base material, providing strong adhesion and durability. It is suitable for roof waterproofing, underground waterproofing, waterproofing of construction joints and polymer waterproofing membranes lap seal.

Double-sided butyl sealant tape: have no base material/with gridding cloth type. Butyl double-sided sealing rubber tape is made of butyl rubber and supported by other assistant adhesion.
