Foam tape is a kind of tape made of foam as the base material, with pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on one or both sides and then covered with release paper. According to different classification standards, foam tape can be divided into many types:
1. According to the adhesive system, it can be divided into hot melt adhesive type and oil adhesive type.
2. According to the size of the foam cells, it can be divided into open cell type, closed cell type and semi-closed cell type.
3. According to the characteristics of the foam, it can be divided into high-density foam tape, low-density foam tape, flame-retardant foam type tape, conductive foam type tape and high-temperature resistant foam type tape.
4. According to the type of foam, it can be divided into PE/IXPE foam type, EVA foam type, PVC foam type, PU foam type, EPDM foam type, CR foam type, SBR foam type and NBR foam type.
Acrylic foam tape is a special foam tape, which is made of acrylic foam, has good adhesion, weather resistance, and can form an effective seal between different materials. It is widely used in automobiles, electrical appliances, construction, LEDs, etc.
Acrylic foam tape
Acrylic foam tape(AFT) also known as very high bond tape, VHB tape, VHB, UHB, uhb tape and ultra high bond tape is a high-performance double-sided bonding tape that can be widely used in automotive, electronics, advertisement, home appliances, photovoltaic, hardware manufacture, and architecture industries.

Double-sided Foam Tape
Double-sided foam tape is tape-based on PE/EVA, coated acrylic adhesive/hot melt adhesive on both sides, and backed release film liner/release paper liner.
How to choose Foam tape
1. Material and thickness of the substrate: Different substrates such as EVA and PE foam, and different thicknesses such as 0.8mm, 1.0mm to 5.0mm, etc., will affect the performance and application scenarios of the tape.
2. Choice of adhesive system: The choice of solvent-based or hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive will affect the stickiness and weather resistance of the tape.
3. Quality of release paper: The performance of release paper will affect the processing performance and use effect of the tape.
4. Characteristics of foam: Such as compression deformation resistance, flame retardancy, wettability, etc., are all factors that need to be considered when choosing foam tape.
5. Applications: Different application scenarios such as electronic and electrical products, mechanical parts, various small appliances, etc. have different requirements for the performance of foam tape.
Notify:
- Before pasting, remove dust and oil stains on the surface of the object to be pasted and keep it dry.
2.The working temperature should not be lower than 10℃ during pasting. If necessary, use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive tape and the pasting surface.
3. Pressure-sensitive tape works best 24 hours after pasting, so when pasting vertical load-bearing objects, it should be placed flat for 24 hours.
